Quote: Prince of Denmark "It might be argued that a junior set up would be the first step towards establishing a strong club. Starting with an open age team just sounds like appealling to exiled northerners and union players looking to play games in the off-season. Good luck all the same.'"
or Run open age and juniors side by side???
Can I cite the two-times RLC Regional Champions
rlNorthampton Demonsrl as a way that a club can set itself up, have an open age set up and have a thriving junior section in only 5 years.
I'm sure their chairman Andrew Quirke (aka Northampton Quin) will be more than helpful for some advice.
Good luck.
