I'm no expert in marketing but imo a voucher giving entry for say £2 providing you enter your contact details on the back. Only for games against (for want of a better word) lesser teams who, (a) you have a realistic chance of beating and (b) your crowds are at their worst.

Hopefully as well as boosting crowds for certain games you might end up with a few contact details to offer promotions to in the future.

As you may have guessed from my username i now live in Eastbourne. I work on the trains and regularly see quite a few in quins RU shirts travelling long distance from areas such as Haywards Heath and Crawley travelling to RU games. Potential fans are out there if your club can convince them to come.

Brighton & Hove Albion have a sposership deal with Southern trains which offers free travel to home games within a certain area. The match ticket is the train ticket on the day. Maybe a similar arrangement with Southwest trains is possible?

Great idea and great post, if you changed the price a little you could sell it as
"Come and see Quins for a quid!"

Would mean that the punter feels like they are buying a product, or some ST holders might even splash out a fiver and take 5 friends along who would enjoy the game

If this is too much like giving away freebies could always just limit it to kids like west ham did a few years ago with their kids for a quid promos
And the club regards u21s as kids this year so perhaps a few students from st marys might come along as a cheap nights entertainment

What is it with you and trains GF!

In Aus they do train and entry ticket packages for some RL games.

Until last April, I had never driven a car in my life.........so knowing what train goes where and at what "scheduled" times was important to me as it's how I got around. Same with buses and tubes.



That's a good idea.....maybe we could incorporate a ticket holder as well

Never got lost on it.....did do a couple of laps whislt snoring my head off though and I believe I must hold the record for return trips on the District Line whilst snoozing....Monument - Ealing Broadway - Upminster - Ealing Broadway - Upminster -Ealing Broadway - Upminster!
