But we already have a very quick but young flyer in the Academy don't we, who has had a few 1st team outings? If this guy isnt good enough for the first team I don't see the point.

Who is that? If its the Caro(sp) kid you are thinking of he isnt ready yet. May left after one run out and then it was Sharpe, Melling, Penny, O'C if I remember correctly

He's not actually played a first team game for us, he played in the pre season friendlies but his brother sam played in the first team about half a dozen games when we had injuries. He's a better full back than winger imho not exactly got blinding pace but is solid. Had a good couple of seasons in our reserves without ever really looking like making the first team, as someone mentioned had a serious knee injury which wrote off the second half of last season for him.

He did have an off season training with parramatta a couple of seasons ago with his brother which he sorted out for himself. I'd heard he'd been offered some sort of scholarship studying at loughborough which might be why he's looking for a club down there, he never looked like getting a new contract with us mind and can't really see him playing superleague with you lads to be honest he's a good honest tryer but can't say I've seen the obvious potential that some are claiming.

The Leeds lot seem disappointed he's gone, which is a good indicator. I'm quite pleased with this tbh
