Puting aside his other idiot comments, in fairness to Phipps, it has been mooted(sp?) as an idea on the VT. But at the moment it's a suggestion, but one that definitley has it's merits as a fundraiser

I'm sure the club would have no objections to the game being used as a fundraiser given our connection with the family. Next year is also Rob Purdham's testimonial year as well so there will be a tie in there as well.
However, it's the RFL that make the decision, and not the idiot that is Barry McKenzie, he seems to be the one that is making the suggestion
