| Quote Prince of Denmark="Prince of Denmark"Is there a dormant stadium somewhere that we could take over and redevelop as our own home? Even if there is it would require a benevolent multi-millionaire to make it happen. If the RFL & Sky really do feel it's so essential to sustain a London club in Superleague maybe they can do something to bring about a dedicated rugby league stadium in the capital?'"
There is Woolwich Stadium, which did hold a RL game - see [urlhttp://www.thefreelibrary.com/Unlikely+clash+at+Woolwich+Stadium.-a0121945841[/url. Only 500 spectators, so maybe not the best experiment Also it's not so much dormant now as just a few lumps in the grass where the banking was, as far as I can see.

| Woolwich would be a major job to make to Super League standard then.

Well we will all find out on friday now.. so we better all be there early if its before the game so can get behind the guys when playing.. but thats if we hear what he has to say as the P.A. system is crap at times at the Stoop..
On another note about this subject..Rammo wants as many people to e mail, text or even ring his show on weds night to chat about this and our feeling and hopes... I also got the feeling that he might need it to be able to have the show back next season. As its been very quiet with mail from us fans on his show lately and although its a good thing he has spend alot of time chatting about the amateur game in the south.
He might have news or rumours on players coming in or out(the latter is more then likely )

Quote gutterfax="gutterfax"...you jest
I think you will find that the RFL have informed the Wigan chairman that he is in breach of the commitment he made when he bought Wigan.....but if you want to imagine bags of cash changing hands...go ahead.
All clubs have to apply...and that's the way it should be. Bradford and HKR seem to get less of a mention when it comes to the "ground" issue and neither are rolling in cash either.'"
The BBC, The trade papers and the National Press carried articles on Hull KR’s finances quoting a story in the local press. The HDM has since apologised.

Never denied it was the truth but you just seem to want to have a go at Saints all of the time.
And has I have said previously that when we are in the new stadium we will be making a profit and I know that will really annoy you won't it.

Or perhaps Jaybs is merely emphasising that even some of the most successful (on field) clubs can find it difficult to pull big enough crowds to make ends meet?
I'm sure once Saints are settled in their new stadium they will go from strength to strength as it will dobtless be more family friendly for the 21st Century and will have modern corporate facilities etc., and I look forward to visiting with Quins.

| Does anyone know what is happening regarding a potential name change or ground change?
I don't see the point in staying at the Stoop if at least one of these isn't in effect. No point throwing more money at a failed project (as I predicted after the unpopular move away from Griffin Park and the daft name change).
I was hoping that the club would move elsewhere and re-brand as London RLFC (as on the original badge)
I haven't bought a season ticket or any merchandise since the move away from Griffin Park, and that is my stance until a fresh (re)-start is taken

Yes - nowadays it is just to see a SL game. In the pre-Stoop/Quins days it involved proper support for London. I've been to less than half this season. I rarely missed a game as London RLFC
I was against the move to the Stoop/Quins moniker and still am. I know many others who are the same
