Hardly a surprise. Mr J Child is often to be found waving a flag around on the touchline. He's about as good at that as he is at blowing his whistle in the middle of the pitch.

Co-Op league refs do run the line at SL matches now and then, although as Childs is notionally a SL ref this looks like a downgrading following last week's fiasco.
