This is news because McDermott said unless something drastic/unexpected happens (or words to that effect) he would be at Quins, which left him room to manoeuvre. I think it is pretty clear he has been speaking to Bradford at some stage during this summer.

This finally confirms he will be staying.

It is news only because while BMcD probably knew a couple of weeks back he wouldn't be getting the Brdford job it hadn't been announced.

I would take 2 or 3 of these over McDermott, Tawhai, Powell and the Union conditioners, I would only keep the youth coaches.

Some people on here have 'battered wife syndrome' in wanting Mac to remain, most coaches in the lower leagues are better than him
