Deepest condolences to Gary's family and friends and also to the families and friends of others that have lost their lives or been injured in yet another terrible day for West Cumbria.

Many families are still trying to recover from the floods of 6 months ago followed by the terrible school bus crash last week, now this. Gary was a very committed rugby league player who thought nothing of doing a shift on the family farm before turning out for Town and before that Haven. He was known as a tackling machine and was a role model for any budding RL player. RIP Gary and God Bless.
