According to Sky Sports website the RU game had an attendance of 10,237 and the RL game had 5,200. Though the attendance for the RL game is probably only an estimate it does demonstrate integrity on the part of your club as they have given a truer figure for the crowd rather than trying to claim another 5000 fans watched as they could have done. The figures suggest this was not a cynical attempt to boost the average after all.

Wasn't helped by the fact that the supporters' coach broke down on the way, and didn't end up making it to the game due to not being able to find a replacement coach until half 4, by which point they were still 2 and a half hours away from London.

I pretty much agree with the stated attendance of around 5,000ish. There was a few in the new South Stand, and a reasonable smattering in the LV= Stand. I noticed that a fair few Saints fans turned up to watch all of the Union match as well.
