andy wilson from the guardian here, invading your board in peace.
appreciate these are very tough times for you all. still reckon you'll improve significantly in second half of season when key men come back. in the meantime, try to keep the faith (although i appreciate that's easy for me to say). the number of young southern lads who have played super league rugby is a big contrast to some of the things that have happened in the past, and means that there are far more solid long-term foundations in place than there were when the first team were doing better on the field at brentford, paying big money to the likes of hetherington, barnett, etc which meant the club would be bust now without messrs lenagan and especially hughes.
anyway, that's not the reason for posting. just wanted to draw your attention to a quins-related bit on the bottom of this week's blog.

chance for you to chew the fat, beat the drum, etc - the more responses the better.

maybe if your lot (present company excluded) would realise there is more than just football and there are 2 codes of rugby and start dedicating more column inches or maybe (asking too much maybe) a WHOLE page to League. We may be in a healthier state. We have the product but you won't advertise it.
