An English work colleague introduced me to Steak and Kidney pie and chips from a chip shop, wrapped up in white paper with heaps of added salt and vinegar.

Before I came here people warned me about British food.

Bl**dy modern softie fad. Used to be wrapped in newspaper when I were a lad. Survived it, too.

Why would buy a pie & chips in a fish & chip shop?

Depends on the pie. Now Hollands pies are first class. I thought the aussies liked pies. Maybe only koala
pies?

Word to the wise: Remove from the paper before eating.

Actually, the pies at Quins are done by an Aussie company! Jumbucks I think, or whoever it is that has shops at Shepherds Bush and Fulham! They are quite good, though maybe slightly over priced.

Melbourne coach said on SLTV that he was going to have alook at how Inglis goes and if he feels hes fit enough he would give hime something like 30 minutes against us.

I know we want the Quins to do well against them,but be great to see him play.

Also read that Gale out for us not only this game but for another month due to him breaking his jaw. so who we going to play in the Halves along with Orr.

That leaves Melling...........I can't think of anyone else other than kids, though I am sure Sharp or JOC could front up!

Melling is a terrible stand off. I'd put a youngster there.
