| Whilst I'm frustrated (understatement) by Quins at present, I'm not going back to football. At least not full time.
Followed Reading for nearly ten years before finding TGG. I'd much rather sit in a friendly family atmosphere with my pint, having paid £15 to get in and enjoy an entertaining fast paced, honest sport. Not £30 to hear nothing but swearing, racism and abuse, being herded into a concrete tunnel to have a drink before returning to see a 6-footer go down crying when someone treads on his little toe.
Went with my 'faction' to see Reading v Birmingham in May and while it was a good day out, some of them were shocked at the behaviour of the Neanderthals around us. Took them to Quins v Bulls and they all commented on what a fantastic day out and sport it was and asked when they could come back.

Don't be silly, they don't actually touch eachother, they just fall over crying from the wind.

My point remains
RL really is a great sport and I kick myself that I didn't find it earlier.

| Half a season of bad results and the not only do Quins fans stop watching their team, they watch an entirely different sport.
Perhaps this should be linked to the ongoing discussions about bums on seats.
I'm surprised anyone came back after 2004, although beer, continual staff changes, a love for the game and impractical optimism keeps me watching year after year.

We were reasonably well rewarded in 2005.
To be fair we won more games at the end of 2004 than the end of this season.

| Its very hard and very frustrating following Harlequins RL when the results go this way, I certainly am not going ot give up on them though, even though my soccer team (no prizes for guessing who they are) have had a surprisingly good start to their season, I am most definitely a Quins fan first and foremost, used to have 2 season tickets at White Hart Lane as well, but Rugby League is my game now, can't see me going back now that I have experienced this sport. Even after the RL stops, I then become a New England Patriots fan and follow the NFL over soccer.
If Quins are getting you down, then look forward to the 4Nations, England at least have more than a 1 in 4 chance of winning that.
Keep the faith all

Dont worry mate. When we hear about our super duper squad for next season we will soon convice ourselves that we are top 4 material and settle down for the winter with no recall of what happened these last 3 months
