Quote: nnl01 "There have been clashes in the past with the sevens so why it's bloody stupid this year when no one has noticed in the past is beyond me
It's not stupid.....it's just that we are playing terribly at the moment. If we had just won a CC semi-final and were sitting 4th on the league nobody would complain
It's infectious
sorry mate its stupid!!! even if we were sat at the top of the league and on our way to wembley, i still think folk would complain about the fact there is nowhere to park on a match day unless you are willing to fork out 25 notes!!!!!
In fact if we were top of the tree and winning, there would be more folk to complain, so i suppose its a blessing we are doing so rubbish.
luckily i can come on 2 wheels so parking costs me bugger all
Clashing with an event over the road be it kick and clap, or something like Rod Stewart like a couple of years back is just crazy planning, and a good way to encourage people NOT to turn up.
Lets face it, its not the biggest crowd pulling game, so if you looking for a game to skip, the parking issue is only going to reinforce the urge to not bother
There is usually about 30,000 fans at the sevens. But at least 20,000 will Range Rover it in to have their annual 7 hour picnic in the stadium car park.
