It is really good of a guy that dumped Quins RL for Wigan to still be putting 600K per year of his own money into the club, and for his company Work Place Systems to be sponsoring the club for no reason though!

Everyone is allowed their personal opinions, even if we may strongly disagree, at times it can feel supporters Have to keep the Party Line?

Harelquins RL is not about the Few Chosen! it is open to Anyone who wants to support Our Club!

Just re-read that thread. From what I can see 2 or 3 of the usual suspects had a dig at you, and the rest was pretty balanced - even little old me stuck up for you, bless my saintly soul. Anyway, my point is this: If that thread genuinely affected the way you feel about supporting the club at the time, then you're as ridiculously sensitive as that lot were pompous. Need to get some perspective mate!

You sir/madam are an @rse if you stopped going to games because Listy had a pop at you. The club needs supporters, regardless of their opinions and if you were a fan of the club for many years, I don't see why being "shot down in flames" would meake you do anything other than stop visiting this site.
Jesus, if was to take offence at every jibe or snipe directed at me, I would have stopped going to games the day I signed up on RLFANS.COM!
As for citting Lack of Ambition at the club.......I agree, but still go to games and hope that one day we find a sugar daddy who will block book Double Page Spreads in all the London papers. Until then, money is tight and whilst I will rant on about it, the club can't spend what it doesn't have. We tried that before and look where that got us!
As for lack of intensity on the field....whilst we do sometimes seem to be lacklustre, I am sure the players would like to argue that point with you face to face.....something that you can do at the club after games.

Lastly, IL did what any fan with funds would do and bought his hometown club. He still throws cash at us and IMO is a credit to both clubs and the game in general. The promotion of the Wigan Leeds game a few weeks back shows what can be done and I would suggest that if you want to ridicule anyone at the club for the clubs perceived lack of ambition, you point your accusing finger elsewhere.

Stick your principles where the sun doesn't shine and get your butt down to the stoop on Saturday and support your team!

It is a sad reflection how the "clique" have behaved in controlling forums and debate over the years. I presume it happens at most clubs? but to me it is the story of some with a little power!

In fact, the only clique I can think of is that containing a series of bitter moaners who want to see a return to the good old days and can't possibly embrace the present and look forward to the future.

I would put you a the top of the clique list Lister, I don't want to see a return to the good old days as they were not that good. It just seems to me that is anyone expresses a view on here that is slightly controversial they are often told to bu@@er off as the club does not need supporters like them when in fact the club needs every supporter it can get.

And in that way you and your cronies are doing the club a great disservice.

IF you are not aware of "The Clique" don't worry about it Dave stay in your own world, and NO I don't live in the Past, Thanks! but I am willing to accept reality even though at times it hurts.

The cry of clique is usually the only response internet users have when their points of view are so flimsy as to be shot down in flames by more than one person giving reasons as to why their flimsy points of view are not actually robust enough to encourage debate.

Said posters usually then moan on year after year about cliques and "stifled debate" as a sop to their own self importance, or lack of. They always miss somehow the debates where robust opinions are offered and debated against because that would negate their own percieved valued opinions.

Victim mentality I believe it is known as.
