While I fully understand the ' chasing business ' marketing ideas , it is ' base ' level support you seem to be lacking

Have the club any initiatives in the pipeline for that ? , other than letting existing fans in for less money if they wear a footy shirt

Even better. Hopefully they will get some business out of it. Problem is, it's never publicised (until now). It may well be that this has been going on for ages, but how are we supposed to know if they don't tell anyone. As it is, I have a close mate (union thru and thru) who owns a company in the R&T CoC and he has never had any contact with the League side of the club.

Get him to contact the club

Should he phone up and say:
" I normally take my contacts and customers to RU games as well as Polo, cricket and occasional soccer games but was wondering if there are any opportunities available at Quins RL"

So, the job of order maker becomes the to job of an order TAKER etc etc etc etc.........I'll let HKBronco fill in the rest.

tell you what though, it was in a business plan I sent to the club in 2005.
I don't care if it was my idea or not, it just goes to show the wheels are turning at tw2 and the hamster is showing signs of life.

Is the Cannons Health Club still across the road from the stadium? How about running a promo with them. Have their Personal Trainers go to a Quins session and see how the guys train. Then get the Quins trainers take a Boot Camp style session (if the training field is still there) and everyone who attends gets a free ticket to a selected game (make them earn it), also to give something back to Cannons to help promotion, anyone buying PT session that month gets a free ticket to a game.

Now that there seems to be more junior teams etc, does the club still do the "cashback scheme"?

So it probably ain't then. But you do care GF, otherwise you wouldn't have pointed out that you previously sent them a business plan 4 years ago with something that was coincidentally (or not) in it. It also sounds like the club have been doing it before. But now it's good by you as it's been reported on their website. So basically, nothing's changed. We just publicly know about it now.

Why doesn't everyone put their ideas in writing on here. In one thread. Then get them all off to the club. Let them decide what to do with the money they have. And where they can spend it. And more importantly, if they can spend it. Go through every subject from tickets on the day, to season tickets to match day experiences. Then if the club cannot physically do an idea, that's the end of the matter. No more whinging. No coming on here saying my idea is brilliant so the club must be shıt as they haven't done anything. etc. etc.
