Unfortunately, I suspect the sad economic reality is that putting 20 or 30 or 100 people in this position every time when this happens will not deter Sky from doing it again. It's not their money - and if 10% or 50% of those people cancel their Sky subscriptions in protest, it's a drop in the ocean to them.
It wasn't very clever of the RFL man to come out and say it out loud, but he is right - the numbers involved are small. Very annoying if you are one of them (as I am - have now lost wads of money changing our plans) - but ultimately small numbers of people affected in the scheme of things, and hence nothing we can do.
Now that I am spending a small fortune to see this game, we had better bloody well win.
Welcome to The Stoop - The Field of Dreams.......Where Broncos supporters dreams are realised and away supporters dreams are shattered !!!!!
2012 - The Year of The Broncos:
I'm not suggesting a riot, merely standing on the half way line for 10 minutes or so.
I'd help out but my asbo forbids me setting foot in Languedoc Roussillon.
I hardly think the riot police would get involved, even if they did, I'm led to believe that you can build up a tolerance to tear gas and adrenalin can kill the pain of a baton charge.
Look this isn't even worth joking about! So far this year we have had a fan try to set his top on fire and warrington fans abusing the hearts. What would have happened to quins if a burning top had landed on the pitch? Idiots are creaping into the game.
Lets just leave any kind of stupid behaviour to football fans and use our intelect to come up with ways of showing disgust!
