There are still clashes though - I used to work for an Israeli bank and all the Jews used to bugger off early on a Friday to be home before dusk, leaving mugs like me to hold the fort!

He didn't forget anything. What he knew, as does anyone connected with the "local" game, is that kids play at 10, 11 and 12(under 12's, 14 and 16's) thus offering them and there fathers the opportunity to go to the Stoop for 3.

Its the open age games that clash

The fact that a clash exists at all is still a bit stupid when you are in dire need of increasing attendances in a city with a small target fanbase. Keep exluding sections of it bit by bit all seems a bit mad to me

in this day and age most fathers will be 18 with a 5 year old son

wire quin some of the u12 have been played in the afternoon making it difficult to travel to the stoop for a 3.00 ko. There is a clash at Junior level, I know since I have a lad playing.

Listening to Clarky on the TV he said Brian Mac had watched his son play earlier in the day and im sure I saw him at the game last night.

As last night was 6 pm KO and the RLC hasn't started yet, what is the reason for the small crowd. Surely some of the players would have attended last night to see a top 3 team, boosting the gate. Are we to expect a drop in crowds in 2 weeks?
