Leeds up next after they performed a convincing what can only be described as hammering against a lacklustre Warrington. They will come to us full of confidence, and smith seems to have got them playing some good stuff with their players back from injury and hardaker at the back enjoying his rugby at FB once again.
We owe them one, and they will no doubt feel they owe us one snatching a point from them in the last second at their spot.
We will still have hill and Yatesy missing for this one- still no news on Fages - but I suspect given how he was treated last time out there he won’t be wanting to rush back against them given their nasty tactics that started all his injury issues.
A dilemma then still for Watson in the halves even if fages ISNT available, does he play Russell, cogger or pryce? In the highlights I saw cogger looked to play a bigger part in the tries scored at Catalan.
I expect greenwood senior and Wilson to be available against Leeds so other than perhaps in the halves, with English in instead of yatesy then do we think the rest is likely to be as the team that played in the final, or will golding be back on the bench or will he stick with AOB?

No issues following the disciplinary from either side.
Sounds like 'made of biscuit' Newman could be back for this one. If I were Watson I would certainly be targeting him to run at as he certainly wont be match fit and his defence was never top drawer.
leeds will fancy themselves for this one, lets hope we just go about our business and dont panic if they start to throw the ball around.

IMO, this fixture promises to be more entertaining than the scheduled sky game tonight. True test of Leeds 'revival'.

Another good game from the giants. Yet another well drilled disciplined performance - despite having to juggle players and positions which unfortunately upset things a little, so not quite as polished as it could have been. First wardle coming off and golding on to the wing, then Levi appearing to be struggling a little, then cogger went off so golding had to go to FB and tui in the halves to partner pryce, the juggling did upset the rhythm a bit, Leeds were very poor in the first half, a bit livelier in the second but we did what we do well which is keep territory and turn over possession in the right part of the field- Leeds didn’t often come within our 10m. They seemed to really miss leeming- I thought Austin tried - myler was anonymous and I forgot hardaker was playing until right at the end when he scored.
The supporters moving worked really well and could hear them a lot more- and it seemed to look like a lot more people were joining in. A shame more didn’t turn up overall as we don’t have a game at home until end of July now.

I thought they looked really good in attack until Cogger went off and the changes were made. The defence was excellent throughout. Lutele and McQueen are massive attacking threats. I thought the two best players though on the night were the starting front rowers of Wilson and Lawrence who were both outstanding.

We really need to be tying Wilson up in a new deal now as other teams are starting to notice him, and his contract runs out next year. Get him a nice extra three years at least!

A great win. Well worth the 200 mile drive north. What a great spirit the team have. I'd like to echo earlier posts, Wilson has been outstanding for the last few games, with Lawrence and English, didn't really miss Hill or Sea too much. I was a bit disappointed with Greenwood last night but small points really. Leutele and Macqueen are exceptional, both top players and NRL winners. Crowd was really good, nearly 7000. I'd also like to say how exceptional Lolohea has been all season, he creates so much, and I hope Cogger is back soon, another key squad player.

Lawrence 10m per carry and Wilson 12m per carry last night- Both flawless in defence, Lawrence 26 tackles Wilson 19 m, no errors no penalties, Wilson 4TB and 1 offload.
Personally thought Wilson was MOM last night , but unfortunately those kinds of hardworking players don’t get noticed too often.
I agree about lolohea and I have to hold my hands up and say I was completely wrong about him. I wasn’t pleased at all we had signed him, but he’s proven me wrong, been fantastic for us wherever he has played and will always get the best he can give- and what I really like about Tui is he always seems to have a smile on his face when you see him in photos around the club- he’s always laughing and clearly a happy positive character.
I’d rather have a positive Tui than a negative Sezer any day of the week!
