Proud as punch.

As a Rhinos season ticket holder for 20 years and now Giants season ticket holder for 4 years, just wanted to say how proud I am to be a Giants fan!

In Majorca and getting the bar staff to change the channel over to see a fantastically spirited display that everybody associated with the town should be proud of.

Am a HTAFC season ticket holder too but tonight was fantastic.

Ken Davy is a legend to this town.

Be proud. Get everybody supporting. We are gonna do this!

Meast - It's funny how things work out sometimes! Have converted my brother too. From 1986 to 2006 I followed Leeds home and away with total anorak status but just love RL in truth. Watched the club a little when they were Barracudas and later through Big Eorls debut season in the centres!

Am hooked on Giants now and can't exactly put my finger on why! It's a seriously unacceptable mission is changing clubs!!!!

My underlaying feeling for Leeds remains but is very much dormant. Now I enjoying Giants victories over Leeds just as much, if not more, than you guys.

There is obviously the HTAFC comnection too but Hope that defence makes sense......probably not!

haha fair play, not that I would ever condone changing clubs, that's a no-no in my eyes.

A little while ago I would have heartily agreed with fans who expressed the opinion that changing allegiance was impossible, however my experience shows that it might not be such a big leap as people think. I am an Oldham fan, however for the last three years I (along with my parents) have been a season ticket holder at the giants. It was remarkably easy to get behind the team as you start by associating with certain players and it grows from there. It's not so much that you swap teams more that you add another side to your favourites.
The decision to start attending games at hudds was predicated by the poor facilities at Oldham and the fact that my young son did not want to go there because of this. I'm a rugby fan and therefore had no problem with watching a better class of rugby for a year, also amazingly it was cheaper to be an st holder at hudds than at Oldham. Now I'm happy to say I'm a giants fan as are my parents and my son. I won't be chanting "fartown" or wearing a replica shirt but my son will and that's fine by me.
Finally, it was a great performance the other night sadly spoiled on sky by the ravings of the lunatic commentators.

Still buzzing here from watching the game! I only get to watch the games on sky due to my location, other than that its radio commentary. Just hope more people will head down to the stadium to get behind the lads!

Also in regards to changing allegiances... I went from Sheffield to Huddersfield in the space of a few months, its not that hard
