You only won the league as better teams don't value winning the league as much as the GF. When it came to the crunch you were cast aside firstly by Wigan and then Warrington. If you were truly the best team than wouldn't have happened now would it?
Surely you would have been able to beat both teams when it mattered wouldn't you?

Consider this; In 2012 after winning the LLS we lost to Leeds in the final playoff in the last 10 minutes. In 2013 we won the GF. (We also won the Challenge Cup after beating Widnes/Hull KR/London and Hull - the easiest route to success anyone can remember - in other words if Huddersfield had that lucky draw they too would have won - so would any of the top 4)

In 2013 Huddersfield won the LLS and lost to Warrington in the last 10 minutes of the final playoff.

Unlike Wigan who have lost their best player and Wire who have lost their best player Huddersfield have strengthened.

Your words are "genuine threat". Huddersfield have beaten every other team in the league on a regular basis over the last two or three years. To write a team off as offering no threat isn't just arrogant it's plain stupid.

You don't need to win every game to be crowned GF champs at the end of the season.
The WCC is far more important that Hudds on Friday night.
Even if we lose to Hudds it doesn't mean anything in terms of who'll win the GF come Oct.

I actually don't have a problem with Hudds, they're a good team with some entertaining players to watch. I feel I've hit a nerve with my blunt approach, yes I do think Wigan are better and yes I do think Leeds, Wire are more of a threat to Wigan defending their titles. People can agree or disagree.

Wigan had a great season last year, they did the double beating Hudds along the way in the playoffs. I do think the WCC is more important to Wigan; how can it not be? Than Hudds on Friday, and I don't think the outcome will play a part on who wins the GF come Oct.

You came on here spouting off that we are not a threat to Wigan and if Wigan want to beat us they can do - if they lose to us it's because they 'couldn't be bothered to beat us ' or some other kind of bullcrap.

Just because we didn't win the GF doesn't mean we aren't a threat but you carry on banging you're excuses in and making yourself look silly, which, even to your own fans, you are doing !!

No-one is disagreeing with these points. It's the "Huddersfield aren't a genuine threat" bit that no-one can understand. Huddersfield are in the same position we were just one season ago; LLS winners having lost a very close playoff. You can say you don't think they will win anything, but that is just a hunch. Logic and the facts of last seasons performance suggest that they ARE a GENUINE threat. Come on - just admit that you are wrong on this point and we can all move on.
