One good thing that came out of the whole debacle, was hearing the "Hali... Hali... Hali... Hali... Halifax" chant again in Super League!
Mathers looked really embarrassed when the Giants fans started singing it!!

Avoiding mud-slinging here, doesn't this raise the idea that it would be a good idea for BOTH teams to be obliged to have both kits available. THat way if Cas had (as they seem to have done) managed to only bring the white kit, at least Hudds could have quietly agreed to wear their home kit.
A lesson for the future perhaps?
Incidentally, assuming I've been on the moon for the past few weeks (I've been away and moving house) why are you playing at the Shay at the moment?

I agree. It needs ramming home until they all get it. If it had been our fault WE would have been the team playing in Blue and White..
And by the way, why didn't they just borrow 17 shirts from the numpties in the crowd who didn't seem too keen on wearing theirs? Then we may have got kicked off a bit sooner. |

daz is spot on!
there can surely be no blame on the giants as it was agreed in february when cas asked to wear their new away kit to "showcase" it on the first televised game of the weekly rounds, we agreed and so it was agreed that on the return fixture cas would wear their principle kit.so either the RFL or castleford or both forgot or chose to ignore this.
no blame whatsoever on huddersfields part.

| i have an idea.
why not just have the home team play in their home kit and if it clashes then the away team wears there away kit? it used to be like that years ago  |

maybe its because people over the years love nothing better than having a pop at us? maybe people are just too thick to realise that " just because we are the home team we should be wearing home shirts" etc maybe people were just to eager to lay the blame without having the first idea about what went wrong?
i think we should be docked points as some of the warrington fans claim we should, for sticking to the original agreement made in february  |
