It took the Giants a decade to have home grown players in the first team squad regularly once we got promoted...give the Woolfpack the same grace at least eh.

Youth development takes years, and a lot of money and TWP are on it - which is more than some SL clubs are.

Toronto also have set a benchmark on how to engage and interact with the local audience, something the Giants could damn well do with looking at.

All power to them I say, and I welcome them to SL if they win through the Qualifying 8s.

Why thank you...The first Canadian developed is on the upcoming game sheet against Featherstone...a young lad named Quinn from the west coast....

We are doing alot of development but I'm afraid, for some, it will never be enough or there will just be another reason to be against us....its our very existence they detest...very odd and strange...and Canada being a child of Britain.....its like a Mother hating her own son....sad...

If we get in SL it will be interesting to see how the fans up there react....the visiting fans (and I have been to every game) can't believe the atmosphere over here, they describe it as a full day carnival type atmosphere, very relaxing and fun, very easy going and enjoyable....many can't believe its a rugby venue and every one of them loved the experience!

Some of the League 1 teams learned (York and Coventry especially) and it has worked out well for them....other teams have also watched and learned. Will the SL teams be receptive or will they ignore and say they have nothing to learn from a startup...I hope for the former but I fear the latter will be the outcome.....lots to learn from Toronto! We do pretty well everything differently over here. Its a great vibe over here right now...very interesting to watch unfold.

I think most people want you to do well, And if bigging yourself up is any measure you should be champions in your first year. It's a pity your billionaire didn't come along 150 years ago, you could have showed us how to bury soccer and how to do things right, ( God knows we could do with someone to do that ). But as i have said before you won't be dealing with the RFL for very much longer , You will be dealing with people with a bit more nouse, whether that will increase your chances i don't know.
Iv'e said before i think you will have a couple of years before the ESL takes over proper, and then if you are not increasing the honey pot or if you are costing SL clubs money i think you will be in trouble , no matter which way you run with the pack. Let's hope it all works out because the game really does need to expand.

Its going to be an interesting ride and refreshing for most in the end...I'll let the billionaires take care of the money end....going canoeing and fishing for a few days now....will think it all over out on the water and in the bush.

No worries...Fev deserved the win. We were resting some players but no excuses....crowd of 8 2000 was fun and is growing pretty well every game (like last year too). I'm predicting a sell out in the playoffs.

Confidence level is strong....fan support is strong...players belief in what we are doing is strong...great coaching and ownership. Nowhere to go but UP, UP, UP!
