As most people will have seen if they use Facebook, that a lot of fans are doing their bit for the club by offering to have banners put up at their businesses advertising the season ticket deals for free, as well as fliers, posters and leaflets handed out to local businesses, shops,pubs, clubs, I, myself have dropped some off at various doctors/NHS/nursing home waiting rooms and communal area's, and even stuck some to lampposts in Mirfield ,others have done the same and at local junior clubs in their areas.

I also believe as well as the Batley news, the Spenborough Guardian, Halifax Courier, Dewsbury reporter all carried double page spreads or headlined the season ticket deals.
If the sales are poor, it's not through the lack of effort by the club, the supporters association and the supporters doing their bit to help the club, and just shows that there is little interest in the giants in and around Huddersfield.

A friend of mine who has occasionally come to the odd cup game against Leeds or saints is considering getting a ticket- the annoying thing is she would have definitely had one if it was still Sunday kick off!
There are lots she will miss but I've said if she just comes to 5 it's worth it!

I think a lot of it is down to the fans offering to put posters up on business/private premises and handing flyers out ....fair play to the club though for realizing they needed help and the fans who came forward and offered ...i've seen loads on fences/walls/railings etc, some even have them on works vans, never seen so much promotion before so hopefully it will have worked !

There were plenty of season ticket brochures in my solicitors office waiting area today. Not seen that before.

We've had a load of flyers at our school to give out to the kids.
They really have made an effort- hope it pays off!!

My daughter came home with a flyer in her school bag last week. For some reason I got instantly excited that efforts were being made.

Biggest effort in a while with marketing! We know that the disposable money for extra efforts in the promotion of our club isn't as large as some of the other clubs but credit where it's due! Signs up flyers out, shirts out early, some good social media ad work and shirts out early! A good push from the club!
