I think Ivor has explained that CJ put his bits in the quote before then adding his own section.
Nothing to worry about he is just better at ordering shirts than using new technology.

| Quote: Danril "We have to go with the coaches on this. I'm twitchy about it, it's natural to be, but I think it's fair to say that the decision will be made with the team in mind and I think it's also fair to say that Lee had justified his place in the team until he got injured and I also had reservations about us signing him.'"
Totally agree with you there, if like has been eluded to on this thread that signing Moore and letting Lunty go allows us to secure someone like Eden then it's a good compromise. Moore and Lunt are proven SL players and who wants to miss out on Greg 'like a young Billy Slater' Eden, I don't.

| Can't say I'm impressed and he's not the perfect role model for my little lad.
However in Nathan we trust - he knows what we are getting. If he adds some mongrel aggression to us on the pitch that is a plus. And if he keeps that mongrel aggression on the pitch that will be a double plus.

One thing in favour is both Baloo and Nathan have worked closely with Scott Moore and know what he's like, which some other clubs don't, if the lad knuckles down and does what he did during his first few months with us, then it could be a master stroke. The other bonus is securing some of the excellent young talent we have at the moment, now losing one of them would be devastating in my opinion.

| I know baloo thinks very highly of Moore, he sang his praises to me at the start of his initial loan period and laid it on very thick. He did do well for us. Lets be honest nb and baloo havent been weong in any of their signings so far except simpson-and i think a lot of that was just down to unfortunate bad luck. Part of the deal is he moves to hudds (similar to brough) and stays away from certain bad influences.

| for me even though i prefer lunt as a player, moore does offer us more in the style of play we currently play, he has a much better offload and much more creativity, hopefully with nb and baloo knowing scotty and what makes him tick, then his off field problems can be sorted.

| WOW very surprised at this signing. Why fix something that isn't broken. You guys are going a long very nicely, why sign a player who could potentially bring that crashing down. Particulary one like Scott Moore.
All those saying he'e talented, he had half a good season in 09 and got in the dream team. But lets remember Kevin penny got in the dream team once. He's OK but there are plenty of better hookers than him.
I actually want you guys to win SL this year (Behind Braford of course haha), but i would be fuming at letting this idiot come into a well run, close knitted team.
A mistake is somthing you do once. He's done it at every club he's been at.

| Sorry Durham Giant, I had not seen that. Could the post be amended so that it doesn't seem like I've posted something I haven't
Crackerjack, I sense a slight hint of anamosity towards me yet I've just signed up. A case of jealously perhaps towards those that know more?

| Moore must think he's a cat!
Falling from grace at the basement club and landing a contract with the current leaders.

| Well this board seems to be split 50/50 on this one, question is , just how many games will Moore actually play in?, Lunty has not played much so will we really miss him?, LUNTY was a good asset but obviously Browny & Baloo seem to think he is dispensible so he`s gone , the jury will have to wait and see what Moore does on or off the pitch before they hang draw & quarter him on here , but then again . I just hope this move doesn`t throw a spanner in our well oiled machine and everyone can get along nicely.

| Let's be honest - we aren't going to see him for a few weeks, until the coaches get him to the fitness levels expected for Giants players, by which time this will all have blown over, Lunty will be setting the Stobart alight, Gregg Eden and Robbo will be in the England set up and Broughy will have signed for another 5 years. Grrrreat.

| Quote: wigsey "Moore has given away 8 penalties in 6 games and Lunt 1 in the same number of games.'"
Moore would give away about two per game for us, quite often at really important times too. The missed tackles may be symptomatic of Widnes though. He did miss the occasional tackle when at Saints but generally speaking he works his butt off in defence and puts in some humdingers sometimes. He can also pass spectacularly well (and spectacularly badly) and he can kick in play as well, although he has not been called upon to do that much. He had a good speed of pass when he was with us but his choice of pass was not always right, but that's to be expected really as nobody is perfect.
On the field his problem really is (a) giving away penalties, and (b) consistency. But overall the real problem is the off-field stuff. He could let the team, club and fans down, just as he did at Saints in spite of getting (yet another) chance.
