Not read this full thread so forgive me ifits been answered but where would you play Brough if you got him, IIRC you've just signed Robinson on and extended contract to play 7. Brown at 6 and Lunt and Drew at 9? Can't see Brough been a squad player and his wages will be a quite a bit so how do you see him fitting in.

probably at move robbo to 9 and interchange with Lunt. Leaving Brown and Brough at 6ers and 7s and Faiumu to loose forward / OOC at end of year.

How does Drew fit in or is he OOC at the end of the year?

Personally I would rather keep Fooey than take Brough too, his sidesteps and offloads and support are top notch

He's OOC and probably just training Robbo up! Not sure where he would fit in, in this scenario - maybe Wakie want him back although they've not got a quota spot. Same for Faiumu.

We at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats would like to keep our supporters in the loop regarding Danny Brough's contract sittuation. We found out that Huddersfield Giants have been helping him with his personal finances in the hope that he will give them his autograph once he becomes a free agent at the end of this season. Upon finding out this info Mr Kear had a discussion with Mr Brough (before the debacle at home to Huddersfield) and explained to him that The Giants had better sign him now, and for a fee Wakefield feel is appropriate for a player of his quality otherwise he would be making a phone call to the RFL to explain what's been happening. Wakefield feel it is a more sensible approach to recieve a decent fee for the player now, rather than letting him go for nothing at the end of the season.



Now is that really the sort of statement you expect??
