Clough not an off loading barnstormng prop like Taai and Seb, but boy his taclikng and work rate are great, plus he is a safe ball carrier.

He has also played in every SL game which considering the injury problems we have had is a great achievement. he has also managed to go all season without giving a single penalty away.

Its the 28 penalties Leeming has given away that is the issue and that he needs to address as the rest of his game is quality.

Yes his game has moved on no end but he has a bit to learn yet. Sam Tomkins could be penalized at almost every ruck he is involved in " a lot he gets involved in when he has no need " But he is a quality player and more than that he is a smart one, I think the whole Wigan team are coached how to play right to the limit, It's part of the modern game.

Leeming will learn, I look forward to him progressing, he shows every sign of being a top player, and it all seemed to kick off in the friendlies.

Look at the stats and hookers often "give away" penalties- it's part of the tactics to slow the ptb and get the defence set. It's part and parcel of a hookers game.

What a ridiculous comment............look at the best hookers this season..........Roby..........Clarke..........Parcell..........Houghton...........all have given significantly less penalties away.........despite most of them playing more minutes..........
