| Whatever deal we do it's got to be benefiial for both clubs, Wakey in allowing them to put out a team and the Giants in that it gives fringe players the opportunity to gain SL experience.
If they are good enough to improve our team, they get to come back and play for the C&G, simples.

| Sending fringe players to wakey is a win win situation!
our players get SL experience and wakey get time to build up their squad natrally rather then having to buy in a number of over the hill has beens and never was's.
TBH if all the squad members that dont play SL this year, (who are in the first team @ SL clubs) where to request a couple of matches at wakey they would have numbers to fill 4 teams.

| could be better for some of the giants fringe players to go on loan to wakey and get some super league games under there belt
not sure if the dual reg players will go though ... wood (sheffield), elliot hodgson (batley) as they have already got the commitments to these clubs.
but the ones below i could see going to wakey
andy raleigh
josh griffin
adam walker
jamie cording
jacob fairbank
gregg mcnally
joe wardle
jon molloy
matt sarsfield
depending where wakey will need to strengthen..all these played in the friendly against wakey first team when we beat them and did a great job

I'm sure Raleigh's squad no is 16 so I don't think he will be going anywhere. If Mason, Griffin or Eorl get injured or suspended Raleigh is the only one with the size and experience to take over. Nathan Brown will want to rotate the forwards it is going to be a long hard season as we will want to win both competitions.

Everyone has their own opinion but I class Raleigh in the top three for his defence and we defend for 40 minutes. Don't forget the big game we lost against St Helens last season when we couldn't withstand their onslaught on our line, Raleigh wasn't playing in that game. Just my opinion!

| Raleigh wouldn't leave if I had anything to do with it and I doubt NB differs from that.
We would surely loan out our younger lads first, such as the two second rowers recruited from Wigan.
Raleigh has too much experience, he is too valuable to the squad.

| i think raleigh will have to have a massive season to get another contract, being a good lad and from huddersfield are in his favour though!
not his fault he had to go to prop, but hes not impressed at all in that position and gone backwards, also hampered by injuries.

Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean
He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness
Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua
Of he who was made God in a world without Hope.
And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say?
Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say
"Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war": |

You keep saying this but his stats for season 2009 and 2010 are pretty much identical.
www.superleague.co.uk/statistics ... eason=2010
Except he missed 8 more tackles. Then again he made fewer errors and gave away fewer penalties.
That would suggest he is playing fairly consistently.
They also compare well with 2008:
www.superleague.co.uk/statistics ... eason=2010
When he played 50% more games.
And also with 2007:

| Raleigh got players or coaches POTY in 2008 also didn't he? He's had a bad year last year with injuries but is a good, solid player with an all-round game. He is also just about in his pomp now at 29-30.

| well hes 100% fit now so lets see him play..... thing is he brown hasnt put him in... clearly rates horne and patrick ahead of him.
i hope he does get in the team and play like he was in 2007 but i stand by what i say that hes not a prop, he only went to that position because we couldnt keep hold of sculthorpe who got a better offer from bradford.
