You know what would really be quality now, for Brough to sign a new long term deal at Wakey.

That is what I don't understand about the whole situation - a deal could be struck, signed and sealed now for the end of the season thus meaning Wakefield keep DB and can replace him with your own choice. We've got a settled squad, you have too - why is there applecart upsetting going on. |

One word: agents!
Arguably, he won't be as expensive next year, as a three year contract would take him to 31 as opposed to 30, which can be a big difference when speed is part of your game. His agent will know that he is worth more now than then. |

Not read this full thread so forgive me ifits been answered but where would you play Brough if you got him, IIRC you've just signed Robinson on and extended contract to play 7. Brown at 6 and Lunt and Drew at 9? Can't see Brough been a squad player and his wages will be a quite a bit so how do you see him fitting in.

probably at move robbo to 9 and interchange with Lunt. Leaving Brown and Brough at 6ers and 7s and Faiumu to loose forward / OOC at end of year. |
