| Totally agree
There was one tackle where Mika (I think) ran at Bruno and I thought "you'll get no change there pall". Sure enough man and ball tackle and Mika is on the deck.

| think both teams need to train on their defence this week, ours was poor and let them offload way too many times
guilty of overplaying too, 20 points up and then just wanted to score off every play
but got the win and 50 points to boot! happy with 3 months this april already and 2nd in the table is happy to see right now
awful attendance today, what was the excuse this time the wind?

| Offloads are very difficult to stop against a side like hull kr who are prepared to try even when there are three men in the tackle. It is a risky tactic throwing blind offloads but when it works like Walker did for their first try it is very hard to defend against

| I thought we dropped the intensity after we went 20-0 up, got too complacent, made a couple of errors which let them back into the game with some soft defence and then panicked when we realised we were in a game and ended up overdoing things. They gained confidence and were offloading for fun at times.
In attack though, we are a joy to watch when we score those long range tries.

Yet their brave bid came to a stunning end when Cudjoe stepped out of the defensive line to intercept a pass and then run away for a 90-metre effort. (Times 2)

| I thought KR showed up well for a supposedly patched up squad, a couple of really well taken tries that gave us some squeaky bum moments, but on the whole I think the boys handled it well.
Broughy played a captain's game and for once the MoM went to Big Eorl. I've thought he'd deserved it before now.
Didn't think much of the cheap shots aimed at Jerry and Leroy Halibut should have done more than give us a penalty.
Not a good showing from the officials, it could have got out of hand very easily.

| Good showing from your lads today, no complaints from me. I was a bit surprised how easily we managed to score though, our defence has been that poor at every away game bar the derby.
Genuine question, how did you rate each of the ex-Giants today?

| Hodgson still knows how to finish. Walker is as solid as he ever was and eden made less handling errors than I've seen him make and joins the line as well as ever but his positioning in defence is still not up to scratch.

Hodgy showed he's still one of the best finishers in the business, as well as one or 2 jittery moments in defence.
Eden was actually quite good today and looked comfortable under the high kicks and chimed into the line well.
Walker did what he did for us, nothing extravant but did the basics well and made some good yards.
Carlile looked busy and tried his best to gt things going for you.
In summary, nothing too exciting but all did a solid job, but then again they all did that for us.

| Agreed with most of above but Eden was still dodgy in defence. He nearly gifted a try from trying to let a ball run dead and was out jumped by Robbo for a high kick but unfortunately Robbo knocked on. He is a real talent in attack though.
Hodgson is a class finisher but Jerry gifted him the try with school boy defending.
WAlker looked decent,Carlisle was steady and Alex Brown was ok but did not really threaten.

We know this too but didn't seem to exploit it very much at all yesterday.
Tale of two bad defences today for me, albeit with a couple of very slick attacking moves from us, on another day that would have been 24-6 or something to us. However if we'd have played a better team we may have come unstuck. Thought they matched us in the middle for periods, they have some strong running forwards.
Thought Wardle had an outstanding game again, he's a better strike centre than Leroy at the moment, he certainly knows how to get over the line. Yet again a great games form Erol, Ferres and Brough.
Liked the look of the new lad too, doesn't do the obvious at times, which is what you need in a hooker. Hopefully he gets in the swing of things more and we can have a better look at him.

Alibert is currently a dreadful, dreadful ref. I know we should respect everyone who picks up a whistle and there is no game without them, but he misses far too much and seems to just guess a good few decisions.
There was a point where he showed some promise but sadly he has been awful ever since being suspended for the seventh tackle try. I strongly suspect that was badly mishandled by Cummings and we are left with a ref with no confidence. Be interesting to see if Ganson improves matters (I think he will).

if he keeps giving us more pens than the opposition he will do for me!
