A shame about ronan. He seemed very driven to succeed at the top level. But we do have a wealth of young talent in that area. He’s signed a permanent deal at his loan club York- there’s chance for him yet to make it in SL as he’s still young.

| I am looking forward to it but it's so frustrating that at the end of the year we seem to lose some of our best attacking players.. Two years ago, you could certainly make a case for Sezer and Edwards being our best. This year, there would be a case for Leutele and Levi being our best. I would be much happier with more pace in the side for sure, but theres certainly some class in there.

Sezer should have been our best-but he wasn’t really was he- didn’t really deliver. I was glad to see the back of the over paid waster. And I liked Edwards but he let us down massively! Can’t be our best if he’s not on the field.
I agree losing Levi is a massive blow, especially as it wasn’t planned and we don’t seem to have a replacement. leutele was brilliant for us last year- but we don’t know what Marsters will bring. And naqaima was the fastest player in the NRL roosters squad last season! So he’s got pace, along with pryce, as does senior who we know, because we’ve seen, can outpace regan grace. And tui is no slouch.

| Just watched the Ireland v Jamaica game. I know the opposition wasn’t great but what a player Harry Rushton looks to be.
Also big shout for Ashton Goulding who was by far the best Jamaica player.

Yeah rushton looked very solid. Can’t wait to see him in C and G
As an aside where did all those offloads come from from Toby king???
It was a very one sided affair- Jamaica were all over the place defensively, their structure was very ragged but can’t fault their effort.
Ashtons enthusiasm just cannot be bettered I don't think I have ever seen a player play with a smile on his face as much as that guy- even when he’s getting beaten he never stops. He’s like an under 8 playing every week! He must be a great guy to have around the team.
And Kieran Rush made history as the first Jamaican player to score points in the World Cup.

| For those who mention Kenny Edwards I reckon Livett will be as good without the same predilection for stinky fingers

| Esan Marsters looks to have some real quality and will prove a handful with better service. He seemed to start at 6 and did most of his work from dummy half which is pretty weird for a centre(Dean Hanger anyone?!) but has footwork, acceleration an offload and some skills. It is pretty hard to see how good he could be because Cook islands distribution was the worst i've seen in the world cup, they literally never threw the ball wide all game,

| Their tactic was definitely play up the middle. Paid off eventually too. Marsters looked good. Ford showed how much better Toulouse would /could have been last season if they hadn’t lost their two best players before the start.

| If Michael signs for your club what you will get is a top bloke to start off with, a fantastic professional and a leader. He always gives 110% every time he plays, his go forward isn't what it used to be but his defense is second to none, I would like to see him finish his career at Huddersfield but then he has to do what is best for him and his family. If he does go to Wakefield then I am sure he will be a great asset to your club and I am sure that he will go with all our best wishes for an outstanding career at his hometown club.

| I think this was very much on the cards before Poching left the club, not so sure now.
But if it does turn out to be true, Waterloo Winger summed it up perfectly.

| Absolutely- would love for him to finish his career at our club. consummate professional both On and off the field. He has played at every position on the field except hooker at some point I think. A really good guy. Does loads for the game Never forgot his roots and still does stuff for his amateur club when he can.
I actually think his go forward last season had improved, he might not make many metres after contact but he usually finds his front and gets a quick PTB - little stuff like that that most people don’t notice or appreciate. his defence has always been brilliant. Regularly tops the tackle count and rarely misses one. Won’t give away many penalties either. I think he has only ever received one ban in his entire career. (Could be two).
Be sorry to see him go

| Realise clubs cannot keep every player but Luis Senior seems to be producing very good displays for Ireland in this RLWC.and out shining his brother.

I suspect the fact Louis usually plays on the same wing as Jerry has a lot to do with his decision to look elsewhere for his chances.
