| What were everyones thoughts on Dwyer at magic weekend? He looked excellent in defence, particularly chasing back but I thought some of his passing out of dummy half was quite poor.
I would be tempted to put Faiumu on as replacement hooker for this one while he is getting match fitness back and let Lawrence and Cording play at 13, particularly as Cording seems to get better every week.

| Thing with Dwyer is he looks enthusiastic enough but i think he's trying too hard rather than just playing naturally, whether thats to impress either Anderson or Tony Smith or just his team mates i'm not sure but thats how it seems to me. He's ok but then again Kruise Leeming was ok too so dont really see why we cant let Kruise get some gametime.

You would serioulsy leave Ferguson out. The guy made 40 tackles, 100 metres with ball in hand and scored two tries last week. Not really the sort of performance that leads to been dropped the follwing week.

Good point, not sure why I overlooked him; in that case I would have Ferguson in for Lawrence.
It's nice to be trying to squeeze so many form players into the team.

| Agree everyone is playing well so it is really difficult to know who to leave out.
In fact if we ever get a week were everyone is fit i would struggle to know what the strongest 17 is.

| I agree Dwyer seems to be trying a bit too hard- but there was one instance when he chased down a break and I turned to my other half and commented if Lunt had been on he wouldn't have had the speed to do that. He's doing a job- but I really don't see how it's benefiting giants long term. He can't play in the CC games and we will come across wire again in the playoffs at some poinr which means we need an alternative anyway for the QF and POs. I'd rather give leeming a go and at least it's benefiting us for next year and for the end of the year when we will need someone!

Yeah that's the defensive effort I was talking about. The passing could be due to "trying too hard" I agree, but either way I would rather see Faiumu spell Lunt for 15 mins a game and then spend the rest of his time in the back-row or at prop and Leeming to get the occasional run out.
Long term, maybe if Kyle Wood is coming back to the Giants he might become the replacement hooker on a permanent basis or move to 7 with Robinson once again moving to dummy half; though personally I can't see this as Lunt can do a decent 60-80 mins.

I would go with this apart from swapping Mullally or Cording with on the bench

| faimu is hardly the best of passes either also his play the ball is very slow, i would start fooey at 13 then bring the beast on is deffo getting better game by game i think him running at a more tired defence would be brilliant to see
