| Cording is a good intelligent player. However I believe he lacks the physical strength to be a top player and he is not exactly a kid anymore.

| I like Cording too and would like us to keep hold of him and see if he can develop further.

| He is 23 now so not exactly a kid. If he was 3 years younger I would say defiantly give him a contract but not so sure given his age.

| dont see what age matters really, if he's good enough why not...not really let us down yet and could be a later developer. Dont forget Jerry was 23ish before he established himself properly.

| He's one of the best line runners we have IMO, 23 isn't old for a forward! ESP considering this is his first season getting a semi regular spot. I think he'd be worth a year or two - he won't cost much. Look how Kirmond has come on in his mid twenties!

| Out off all the backrowers we have i'd be disappointed to lose any off them but if we had to lose one i'd be least upset if it was Lawrence.

| Lawrence is home grown can cover several positions and is not out of contract so why on earth would you let him go.
Oh and he is also younger than Jamie Cording so still plenty of opportunity to improve.

| IMO his attack is non existent great defender but in this day and age against the better teams its like playing with a man down in attack he wasn't missed in the games he missed earlier in the season. I'd prefer him back in the centres we're his great defence could look after the halves but he's never gonna get a regular spot whilst we have Leroy and wardle.

| I would rather carry a couple of players who aren't the best in attack but tackle everything that moves than have a team that has half a dozen defencive liabilities which is what the Giants had on Sunday.
Defence wins you games against the top teams not attack.

I know what you're saying, but something to consider is that the top teams' defence takes something special to unlock. So you need good attack and defence.

| I agree that Lawrence needs to work on his go forward but it seems to be an issue for most of our pack. Any decent forward should average over 7 metres per carry. For the Giants only Crabtree and Ferres are managing this.
I think what kills us against good teams is we simply do not make enough yardage in the six tackles meaning the kick is from far too deep leading the opposition starting their attack from a lot further up the pitch.

| Bruno is fine, great squad player and offers cover, agree about his attack not being great but we have Ferres and Chan for the attack part of the back row - we cant really afford to lose Bruno's defence IMO.

Just to clarify, I'm not arguing for or against Bruno, I'm simply stating you need both excellent defence and attack to compete at the top; not just excellent defence.

| agree lawrence and his attack are very poor, needs to work on that but his defence is awesome... and hes one of the first names on andersons team sheet so shows how well regarded he is.
chan and ferres are or two strike players with taai too.... just add some attack to lawrence and this would be great
does he need to pack on more size to do this?? just seems too light on his feet
