I've seen a prediction that we will end up being replaced by London via the middle 8s. Now that what I call being under the radar.

| Predictions like that are just lazy and easy to make
Leeds should be more worried, Widnes look like they have no Half backs, Leigh are totally untested - have Salford recruited anyone?
When push comes to shove we are better off now than this time last season

Now that's one I've not seen- that must be the most ridiculous one yet.
The only way that is going to happen is if London recruit thurston and cam smith, and all the hudds players break their legs all at once in some mass freak training ground accident.

| Yes
Totally untested
You just scraped past the worst three teams in SL, Giants gave you an 18 point start and you were still lucky to win
Week in and week out in SL is a different matter to 4 playoff games

You come up with a stupid response, and in your previous post you ask, has Salford recruited anyone? Do you know anything Especially when Chris Whelham has just gone and signed a 2 year deal with them. Btw - they've also signed Lee Mossop.
So we might as well say the middle 8s concept doesn't work because it's unfair on the championship teams, because they have to beat the worst 4 teams in superleague. And if they do,they're lucky. You should be a comedian.

I think by anyone he meant anyone better. Yes they've signed chris welham- a championship level player. Lee mossop- he promised much, but couldn't cut it in the NRL and Wigan don't want him back, they've also signed tasi, after saints let him go. These are all players not wanted by top clubs- all players who's best years are probably behind them probably with no improvement in them.
In some instances signing the odd player of that type can be useful -like higham for you, gave you stability in the middle, experience and leadership. These three won't bring that to Salford.
If you think a team who's had an easy ride for the year beating teams who have performed badly through the season for one reason or another, are battered, are nervous, with everything to lose, is an indication of how you will fare in SL then you've got a shock coming.
A pro side beating mostly part time players each week is a big difference from playing full time pros every week. I'm predicting Leigh will start well but will have a slump mid season. I don't think you will totally bomb out-but expect to survive-just.

I don't know why you have to keep jumping in, defending others everytime i post?
Your post here btw, is totally irrelevant.
I think you're still hurting by the fact you got beaten at the LSV to a championship side.
You predict that we will start well? Our first 6 games are against Cas,Leeds,Saints,Wigan,Giants and wolves. If we do start well,i'll be the happiest guy in Leyth.

| Speaking of finishing places. I've had a dabble on us to finish top.... with a 14 point handicap! 12/1 with skybet. I'm pretty confident if we can finish top 7/8 it will come in... if!

| on mossop i think it was either him or bateman that had to leave wigan with what happened between them, only one winner!!! but since mossop returned from the nrl he has been poor.
i predict the team with the least injuries and the ones that can play their pivotal players will do best!! simple!

I am under no illusions whatsoever how tough it will be this season, but that's not the point iv'e been making all along.
You initially said we had been TOTALLY untested, and i disagreed due to the fact that we had beaten 3 SL teams within a 5 week period. We have since recruited well hoping to fit in with the big boys,as jools calls it. So i believe we have been tested to a certain degree,That's all.
