Remember they ran out of gas in a lot of games 'cos they spent most of the game giving possession away through silly errors / ill-discipline and then had to defend those errors. That must have taken it's toll over the season no matter how fit they were.

That reminds me of my favourite moment (now I can look back on it) from last season when Jamie Ellis bombed that chance from Jerry's inside pass at Leigh.

I'm convinced his belly got in the way of the ball before his hands could get to it.

Talking about tuby,s, did you see the bellies on those Ossies in the 4 nations. It isn,t the weight you carry, its how you carry the weight, l never had a problem with Ellis, or his weight . l thought he did his job, and thats all l ask, Thurston was packing plenty of extra, but he did his job.

He was too heavy and two slow to ever be a top Half, He had enough clubs to prove himself. Doesn't mean he can never be a top player though, I would have thought he has all he needs to make it as a Hooker.
