Do a job? you having a laugh? Rankin at FB and Gaskell in the halves automatically makes us a weak team. Were a dire RL team.

We had our 'first choice' halves playing today and still created nothing. Can't blame injuries for everything, there has been some terrible recruitment at the club over the last couple of years which has left us in this position. Who decided Danny Brough should have a 1 year contract extension, can;t have been Stone he was being shown the door by then. Mr Davy needs to realise that Thewlis and co are not good spotters of talent, and the kind of deals they throw at people are ludicrous... Can't get Gaskell on less than a 4 year contract? fine, so sign someone else. Bottom 4 side with no creativity.. lets sign the 35 year old playmaker up for another year!!

The team has no heart, no minerals and no leadership.
The game is a complete joke. More stoppages than football. Woeful refereeing, inconsistent and petty. Players calling for penalties, arms out crying.
That was painful yesterday, painful.
The pre-game video made me think of a time not too many years back. I was stood in the boozer in Cas pre-game and we had just signed Kev Brown. Wild & Aspinwall were here as well. Does anyone else remember Aspinwall getting absolutely smashed to bits getting tackled at Bradford? Smashed. He played the ball and two tackles later there he was running it in again. We were a proper team then. Never say die. Playing for each other. Now the closest thing we get to that is giving each other five when the opposition knocks on. And then we promptly knock in on back to them.

The game is garbage. The ref's are garbage. But worse than that, we are garbage. Not long ago at all we were a proper team with talent, leaders and mongrel. Now we're a kindle of kittens with our heads shoved into the corner of a cardboard box, refusing to see the obvious.

Agree 100%, What a change to hear some one say it how it really is instead of people calling players Legends and wanting them signed up for 5 years because they have had a couple of good games.

still cant get away from the fact that we have too many injuries still, you wont get any fluency going in a team when you are changing the team from week to week...just so unsettled is the team changing full backs, centres, wingers, half backs.... it wont help one iota. look at other teams they have a settled team in pivotal positions.
