Mmm don't recall that occasion, will have another watch- I suppose it depends also as to whether he was expecting a particular set play. One thing grix is usually good at is the back up play. I also noticed that grix was particularly annoyed that saints scored their try so perhaps he felt he made a mistake in his positioning.

Whenever a player makes a break just watch to see who is the player backing him up.
When Broughy went off, not only did Grix do his stint at FB, he was the other half back. We still managed to score nigh on 20 with that combination.

Take the 6 out of most teams with 30 mins to go and their attack will change significantly. |

That's the whole point,Grix is a runner,not a natural passer.Even in the friendly vs Widnes he joined the line and then stepped back inside instead of giving it out.
I'd rather him throw an interception than just step back inside,just kills the attack.
FB joining the line and throwing the money ball is what winning trophies is all about,unless you are as quick as Tomkins and do it all on your own through sheer pace.

Fair point,but Grix doesn't do it when the fully trained up run on squad are all there. |

So basically the sydney club are still hoping to give us the players we have turned down. I suspect this is a ploy to upset the applecart, unsettle the giants until they cave in. Hope PA and Thewlis stand their ground.
