It's a legal requirement at [uany[/u sporting event for coach operators to notify numbers to the police. This obviously doesn't take into account the numbers of supporters travelling by car and, judging by the traffic jams that we invariably get stuck in from the exit on the M62 to the ground, it's feasible to expect 3,500 - 4,000 don't you think?




Really? I was there, in the away end, which contained only Hull fans and heard nothing other than the usual singing/chanting that goes on, without comment, at every other ground in SL. Saw and heard nothing other than NORMAL banter on the way out either.

I still doubt this will attract that many across as you've never filled the away stand even last season you didn't bring 3000 and you were on the back of that run!




I was near the coaches and there was banter yes but also some little oiks giving it all this and that to the Giants fans as they passed. It's a true reality that our local Police look at the Giants fixtures and pin point 4 matches were they the look to seek their presence meaning a bill for the Giants!! And Hull FC is one of those 4!

That pretty much covers the whole of SL (barring Harlequins, Crusaders and the Dragons, whose away fans can be contained by a 70 year old steward)!

cant stress enough how much damage those seasons getting hammered and finishing bottom every season in super league did to the club...

we have missed a generation of fans with this and its taking some getting back.. we have very little fans in the age bracket 20 - 30 im afraid.. they prefer football nowadays

but still i would say our away following is growing slowly, much better than years ago!!

I'd worry more about your home support than your away support. Can't have even been 5000 hudds fans there today

Anyway we know we have poor attendances, both home and away.

Maybe you should just be appreciative that we turned out in numbers today, I'm not going to debate how many Hull fans were in that stand but it was a big turnout.

Not many from Hull though. Catalans brought more.
