| If Jerry is out then that is a big blow. However how do you come to the conclusion Stone will leave Lawrence out when he has talked about the need to improve defence and cut out silly mistakes.

Seems to be some conflicting info about Jerry. The examiner saying he's close to a return
www.examiner.co.uk/sport/rugby-l ... lick_Other whilst Yorkshire post saying he could be out for some time. Iwww.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/r ... -1-8043381
In the video he says he's training but was non committal about a time he could return.
Good news that we could have the others back though. First time really since the beginning of this season we have to decide who plays where and who to leave out! Wardle/Connor/Murphy at centre symonds/Taai/Lawrence/roberts/wardle second row, Hinchcliffe/Taai/Lawrence loose
Leeming/Hinchcliffe/wood hooker, grix/brierley/Connor FB, brierley/Ellis/Connor in halves, Taai/ikahihifo/huby/Crabtree/Rapira/Mason/JJ at prop - 7 props to choose from!!!!!!!
I bet PA wishes he'd had this sort of choice!

| Got my tickets today- ironically the north stand is called the wooden spoon stand. Thought it was koukash having a joke at our expense at first!
First day on sale and sold about 150 adult tickets already and plenty of junior swaps
Remember guys the Giants receive money if you buy through the club, and if you don't you have the debacle of having to stand in a massively long queue with extremely slow service to go get your tickets from the ticket office, then walk all the way round to the turnstiles to get in. Not to mention it's an extra £5 for the privilege.
Let's hope we can take at least 1000, get behind the lads, and cheer them on to a win.

| It should be one hell of a game. Two well rested sides going out to put down a maker and gain a vital 2 points. Excited for this game!

| Reading the comments made by Stone in the last few weeks I think many people are going to be disappointed. There have been loads who have moaned that under PA we played a "boring" game of rugby. It sounds that Stone is even more in the mould of playing safe defensive rugby than PA was, so don't be expecting an expansive game. Expect safety and defence to the fore....

As it is a matter of survival for us I don't mind. Take it back to basics, play good percentage rugby. Kick long run hard and earn the rite to play attractive stuff.
Our best year in 2013 we did this and ran teams to death before cutting loose in the latter stages with an open game against tired defence! More of the same for now.

I agree brearley- win pretty, win ugly, as long as we win I don't care!
Persuaded three sometime supporters to join us this weekend so went to get their tickets- numbered 297/298 , ours were 140 odd I got yesterday, the junior ticket number was different by 90- so not a big flurry on tickets as yet! Hope we can get a fair few there!!!!

And to avoid the ridiculous situation that buying tickets on the day at Salford entails, unless things have improved recently?

Is the ticket office in the North Stand not open for Huddersfield games or do you just like to join a queue in the West Stand so you can have a moan about a 100m walk?

No- last time I got my ticket on the day we were directed to the North stand ticket office by the stewards- it was closed, so we had to walk back round to the west stand to join the huge queue (whilst the guy serving was too busy checking his mobile phone than to do his job efficiently) then walk all the way back round to the north stand.

Fair enough, I understand your frustration ( just using a polite word for your actual feelings). It is normally open, though the queue or dipstick in it may just be as bad.
