Nothing underhand about my comments, pretty much out there. I've said in happy for brough to be taken to account for his misdemeanours provided salfords players are too. How is that unbalanced?'"
See you've done it again. You can't write anything without a little dig. Come on jools, you can write one post without being a smart ass surely?
I don't think anything I've wrote is trolling on here. I'd be interested to know what you consider to be trolling.
Your view is unbalanced as you are comparing apples with oranges. Elbowing a guy on the floor with the point of your elbow into his face is not comparable to anything else that happened on the pitch legal or not. Yet you will only concede that he should be punished as long as Salford players actions are also punished after the event? What did the awful nasty Salford players do that is comparable to attacking someones face while they lie on the floor?

I'm sure you aren't saying that only a misdemeanour that involves elbowing someone on the floor should be punished. I didn't compare any misdemeanours- I'm just saying as long as all are punished in line with the misdemeanour then I'm happy. Brough had taken a few cheap shots earlier- they obviously did what they were intended to do and wound him up. As I've already said I'm happy for him to receive a ban. Will do him good!

Anyway Jools did you use the pedestrian crossing on Sunday or take the lazy route and cross a dual carriage way so you could post about how dangerous it is and did the huge walk the length of the stadium get you all annoyed again or was it that you had to walk to a toilet? Curious what negative experiences you feel the need to moan about this week.

TBH that wouldn't bother me at all. His cons have started to outweigh his pros.

"Huddersfield -The Birthplace of Rugby League"

| What got me is after that horrendous start and giving away the obilgatory score on half time , we decide we will TRY and take part after about 50 mins ?
This was obvious to me but cant quite work out the sudden wake up unless a message passed on to the field --Anybody else notice?
Sadly it only lasted 12-15 mins and then it was back to flat as a pancake rugby
In addition someone (perhaps the club accountant or somebody good with figures) ought to explain to playing staff that playoff games aginst superleague opposition arent 2 points but 4 in essence
-2 YOUVE GOT-- AND 2 THEY HAVENT !!!!
In no way was there any indication that this was their mindset yesterday Simply Salford played with more intensity and passion and far less mistakes They wanted it more
We looked like it was a day trip to Lancs and a stroll in the park --very much more of the same all season with the few exceptions that have shown we CAN do it if we want
Its becoming more and more apparent to me that we dont WANT! -full stop
Why ? Good lord I wish someone would tell us poor buggers who have to try and find something to get wound up about with a team who couldnt get wound up in a ball o wool!!
Like others - I just cant see any positives at the moment
No line speed in defence
No pace or go forward in attack
No wiil to win
No enthusiasm
The dressing room must be like a bloody morgue instead of 17 lads wanting to give their all for each other and survival
They couldnt run a bath - and look like they met on the team bus!
BUT WHY with many of the squad that took the league title and under a coach theyve now replaced
Something doesnt ring true --posters on here get at each others throats but with little knowledge of REAL reasons
Hell the injuries problem and the Ferres saga are long gone and all weve got to blame now is Brexit I suppose
But the frustrated fans on here are asked to go along and get behind the team
We are there (with or without rose tinted specs )---Lets damn well see a TEAM please / working together for survival -and quick !!
And some straight talking explanation from someone in the know for the malaise wouldnt go amiss as from recent body language and the "do you want this ball " approach -its getting serious folks
There has to be something deeper than the attitude thats been shown on the field for 80 mins week in / week out Its DIRE!

| Well the only thing I got out of yesterday was a bit of a suntan.
If that's fighting for your job then they can't be bothered that much about their future employment.
As Rick Stone says - this team has got used to playing like this for a long time.
It's going to be tough to turn that around in a few weeks as there is a lot more wrong than right.
I'll be happy to be in the million pound game 'cos if we aren't we'll already be in the Championship.

| I wouldnt be too downhearted just yet ............... you should beat the Championship sides and need one other to get the home tie in the MPG. Youll be OK but maybe a Brough ban is what is needed with Brearley back in to provide some spark. Hinchcliffe should play #13 and Wood #9 & with Symonds back there will be more mobility. Wardle was there yesterday and if he could be coerced into his previous form then he merits a return. Connor to full back & then its Jobs done.
Jools - The reason there is a sp forum nowadays is that we had an Idiot `Flat Earther` monopolising the threads - he was eventually kicked off by Mintball but meanwhile the fans started their own forum `deviltalks` and most posts are now on there.

| Through all the negativity, I would like to say that I was really impressed with Wood and Oli Roberts yesterday. Both players have been pretty consistent throughout the year and I feel Oli is ready to step up for more game time now. Wood has changed the game quite often this year coming off the bench. Also, Nathan Mason seems to be getting better with each game. Seems hard to stop near the line and found his front quite easily with the majority of his carries.

I'd agree with that. I said yesterday that they'd make a difference when they came on and they did. We just need the other 14 to follow suit.

| Time to give the opposition some credit,it appeared from the vid that Salford assumed we wanted a grindfest,so decided not to oblige and kept the ball moving around the middle of the ruck.Add that to their usual good attack structures and those tactics paid off.
