Better than the farce at Wembley when two near identical kits wre worn. That was shocking.

Incredible, two kits that were slightly similar but werent seen as a clash of kits being compared to two all white kits. Pretty silly.

Since we've established that the directives published on the RFL website are tosh, and that it is distinctly possible both sides brought the kit they were told to bring shall we move on?

Just let me clear this up,ITS UP TO THE AWAY TEAM TO CHANGE STRIPS IN THE CASE OF A COLOUR CLASH,i hope this clears this up for all you The Giants did nothing wrong it was the Cas kit man who is at fault for not packing 2 kits.

Just to clear matters up

An e mail is sent out at the start of each season defining what colours are worn by what teams at any given match, we were wearing the white kit, Cas brought the wrong one kit today hence they borrowed the Fax kit and not us.

What does it matter it will all come out in the wash and lets face it, it provided some good prematch entertainment. ATEOTD lets see what the RFL say

Obviously not a written rule that the home team have to play in their home kit as when we played at Cas earlier in the season which was also a sky game cas played in their white kit and we played in claret and gold

The RFL send out emails directing the club which kit to wear. p3 of todays RLE:

"The kit directive that we have had us in alternative kit and the Tigers in their principle kit. This was confirmed by referee Phil Bentham on behalf of the officials." said Giants MD Richard Thewlis.

But according to the RFL website they had us down for wearing the principle kit. So someone somewhere at the RFL has ballsed. Cas are apparently meant to bring both kits anyway, which as I've said before I think is stupid. But they didn't.

If we'd have played at the Galpharm then our other kit would have been there and it wouldn't have ended up being so farcical. So it's a combination of factors.
