Not come on here to gloat.Afterall we've been thumped many times in the past + i know it's not nice.Would just like to say your a better side than that today(prob didn't need me tell you that)+ everything we did just came off.As a neutral there defo seems to be something wrong in the Hudds camp as this game was expected to go to the wire,pardon the pun.Chins up + goodluck for next week.

That today was a absolute disgrace!.
Firstly as has been previously said the tight s in Huddersfield couldnt be bothered to get to the game - I am seriously beginning to think the Town doesnt deserve Super League Rugby - although todays performance certainly wasnt that!. Maybe the shopping delights of Huddersfield hold sway or rather cosying up at home.
I dont like singling out players but:
Brett Hodgson - I would let him go to Wire now. He was shocking - anonymous - one fan behind me gave Leroy a doing for passing to him when under no pressure (when Brett dropped it). How many times has Brett done this over the past two seasons ? .......numerous yet when done to him he dropped it.!. He looked flat, short of confidence almost Thorman like!!!!!. Yes he is man of steel and we have to manage without him but he looked way of the pace today. Captain and current Man of Steel looked almost disinterested.
I think Nathan Brown's comments are gonna come back and bit us on the backside I really do. He could have done untold damage - I fear for the next month or so as we are now way off in terms of quality. I think he will be off come the end of the season anyway - his recent outburst I think more or less confirm that!
Warrington were impressive today and we were INEPT. It was like back to the dark days of Super League when beatings by that score happened every week. So many unforced errors, gutless completely gutless.
You could see the team couldnt be a""ed with about 20 mins to go.
All in all a pathetic display and attitude and a dismal trip back to Shipley this afternoon by me and the boy.

I don't think his comments about O'Loughlin are going to help you much when you play against Wigan in the next match.
No doubt Wigans forwards will be "looking after" their players and they'll probably have Fa'alogo and Mason slap bang in the middle of their sights.
Just the small matter of a rematch with Warrington to come the week after that then Bradford and Saints. |
