Very poor performance today. Just shows how bad Broncos were though, in that they couldn't capitalise on our dire display.

Eorl ran well [if he hadn't have been running hard he wouldn't have collided with Kaufusi (sp) and got knocked over.

Leroy, IMHO, was the pick of the crop both in attack and defence. Murphy did well. Fooey both very good and a couple of boo-boos. Brough tackled like a demon. Fairbank played 65 minutes and did OK.

It's ironical that, on paper, this was our strongest side yet, and our worst performance by a long chalk!

Still, it's a sign of a quality side that can play crap and win!

I agree with leroy being the pick- his defence was MUCH better than this week. Murphys positioning was very good- and it had to be as he was needed as last line of defence on a few occasions. Mason looks like he needs another 6 months off and I felt eorl was well off the pace today- not a patch on his running from last week was jeered at three times and was well and truly smoked. Jerry made more yards in drives than any of our forwards. Players lie fooey, brough and brown did some good stuff but all made terrible errors.

Eorl carried the ball slightly less today but he still made 91 meteres from 13 drives (7 metres per dive which is his average for the season) he also made 32 tackles so i would hardly say he was off the pace.
It was Masons first game back so he was never likely to be at full pace. He concceded a couple of penalties but still made some decent yardage and 20 tackles so a fairly solid effort IMO.
Fairbank is like a machine in defence. Another 42 tackles yesterday and yet to miss a tackle all season.

crabtree has lost weight this season and hes not an impact player anymore.... doing more minutes and endless amounts of work hes bound to get a few big hits put on him nowadays... but do the ones doing the hits stay on the pitch at long as him?! with less interchanges i know which player id prefer in my team!
