It would have nice to have gotten Huby as well IMO, even if it meant Fooey going the other way. Fooey is a great player but I'm not sure where he fits into Baloo's plans.

When it came to the big games we missed Fielden and LO'D. They [imight[/i have made the difference.

They may well have, especially Fielden, but that is all could have, should have a bit like the Wigan and Leeds fans who think thier teams couldn't be bothered winning the LLS

What I would say is having watched a recording of the Wire game it confirmed my impression from behind the sticks, Michael Lawrence had a cracking game. If he can do that consistently we have replaced LOD.

People in the game obviously rate him hence his call up for the knights.

Same reason other fans don't rate Cudjoe

They think a player is only good if he makes one or two breaks a game
Not if he does the 1% things each minute that make a team better

I understand perfectly- people with no real grasp of the game as a team sport don't notice understated hard work- they notice flashy and dirty aggression.

He gets criticism because people want more.

Whilst i accept that he is still learning his position he is a very hard worker if you compare him to other back rowers he has a way to go to get to there standard.

He works hard and puts in a lot of tackles but he really needs to be a bit more dominant in the tackle making one on one tackles and really dominating his opponent. ala Westwood / Grix
He also tends to run very direct rather than seeking out the gaps or targetting the smaller man which bearing he was a centre with some good pace is dissappointing. ala Hock or Farrell.

He IMHO needs to be more aggressive and assertive. If you compare him to Cudjoe this year you can see Cudjoe has become more arrogant, confident and aggressive ( he has definitely put a bit of niggle in to his game).He is much better for it.

Bruno needs to follow that lead from Cudjoe.

It may well be that with a year under his belt, more training, time in the Knights squad that will come. Also playing behind 4 big props will help his game.

I am happy with him but think he has got a lot more to give and to really kick on

Ins updated with AK, reading some of the comments about why these chaps are signing, when other options are available (I know alot of the time we see this quoted) it strikes me we are becoming a very attractive club to go to, one on the rise.

Whilst we get poo, pooed mainly Rhinos, Wigan and Wire fans that the LLS means nothing, I think it does. These clubs are looking over their shoulder at us, really see us up there again in 2014, along with Saints will be a battle for honours by the 5.

I really rate Bruno, I think he's a seriously good player.

I think you're absolutely right that he has a lot more to give. The thing people forget about him is that he's only 23 years old. He made his debut so young that it's easy to forget that he's probably five years away from the peak of his game.
