At work we've a mixture of Wakey, cas, fev & a few Leeds we all have good banter and when we play each other all go to match have a laugh & and drink enjoy the RL and the banter continues until we play each other again. Don't know any hudds fans so never really bothered me as a club abit like London & catalans Just low key fixture in which you usually hammer us. I suppose I've not realized what a massive club you've become and how big your amatuer & school set up us, on a sat afternoon I'll sometimes nip down Stanley or eastmoor sharlston whoevers playing at home but usuallly not against a Huddersfield side. So well done on your on and off field work. Off see my Halifax mate who plays for ovendon so he'll probably inform me of how good the huddersfield a

by the way i think wakey have ( at last ) the makings of a decent side this year ,helped by those who have had superior coaching the last 3/4 years
i dont think we will rout them on sunday at all, i think it will be a close fought contest with plenty of biff and depending on the conditions, plenty of skills,thrills and spills
i dont like making predictions but i think there could be 6-8 points either way .

I don't think anyone is denying this will be a very tough match. And don't forget we hardly covered ourselves in glory at Belle Vue last year. God awful we were. If we don't go into this match with the right attitude then Wakey could very well take the spoils. Those lads are due a win. Just hope it's not this Sunday.

If we go into the match with the same attitude & performance as we have v Pies, Chemics, Wire & Saints then I hope we'll win it. If not it could be a long afternoon.

This is a long thread about a team you don't care about. I played for Swan Bs from Liversedge in the late seventies early eighties and there were some good teams back then.Played against Neil Fox when he was at Underbank the most God forsaken wilderness I've ever played at.

The wakey 'revolution' leaves them with far too many overseas players, very few home grown in the top 20 players and very few young players. A miserable effort.
