| Quote asmadasa="asmadasa"Wakefield are about to click and they will surprise their opposition when they do.
They were beaten by Hull by 4 points after a tackle count of 415 for the match and then scored 2 tries towards the end of the game almost winning. Hull went on and beat St.Helens comfortably this week.
WTW performed poorly for 40 minutes against Bradford and thats it. The match against HKR was very close and WTW were very unlucky to lose.
Collis is pure class and if the WTW forwards perform (no lack of motivation for Raleigh,Kirmond and Wood) and John (kicks some goals) & Smith creates then it will be a very close match.
Come on Wakefield Trinity Wildcats prove them all wrong!
'"
If were playing that game then we haven't exactly been at our best yet ...we put 60 odd past Widnes and played ok but certainly not our best.
Most of our players are pure class no lack of motivation for our ex wakey lad either to show their old club what they've learnt so far with us, if Brough and Robinson and Faiumu etc create on the back of good forward play and get the ball to our backs we will murder you..............its all ifs and buts, the fact is your having to rely on 1 man to create for you, 1 man to kick etc etc we dont and thats the difference , we have 17 potential gamebreakers you have one or two that you hope willperform.
I dont make predictions before games as they can often come back to bite but i will say this if we get on top it will be a heavy Giants win but if we dont dominate early either side can win and not by much 6-10 points either way.
Here's to a good game and more importantly .....good weather, a rarity these days at Wakefield.

| I acknowledge Huddersfield are clear favourites based on form and a settled squad but disagree that you have 17 gamebreakers . You have an atheletic pack and very good pivots that move the ball around quickly as shown so far this season. Huddersfield are not the finished article you've not won Super League or played in a World Club Challenge. We beat you 14:10 last season with a lot weaker team.
I think Danny Brough is a fantastic player but WTW need to concentrate on their own game and I hope they play to their potential to surprise and earn the respect of rival clubs & their supporters.
Smith, John, Lauititi, Washbrook, Collis and Wood can all be classed as game breakers.

Youdid indeed beat us by four points last season- against a very below par team in poor conditions. Forecast tomorrow is good and will suit our new playing style. We won't underestimate you this year -the team this year are playing a very different style of rugby to last year I think it's wakey who may be surprised.

| Interesting.
When you rest in form players it's a master stroke if you win , but if you lose. .....
Tbh Looking to seeing murphy live. And Jacob deserves his slot.

| Murphy is an excellent finisher and a superb defender so should go well on the wing. Thats where he first broke into the Trinity team. Personally think it will be a comfortable win for Huddersfield. Just hope it's not a thrashing.

| Surprised NB is "resting" LG...he's been scoring tries for fun & his defence has been really strong too.

| Maybe NB is taking Luke George out the firing line? Plenty of others for the Wakey fans to have a go at though. George has been in top form so far but Murphy ain't a bad player.
Looking forward to a good entertaining game of rugby, let's give tw ex-Fartown guys the respect they deserve.

I can't imagine many Wakey fans wanting to fire into Luke or Smurph, both deserve far better and did nothing wrong at Wakey or in leaving us.
You'll always get a few granted but it will be only a few.
