If Connor has bitten Hardaker then ban him, we aren't like Leeds fans that feel our players can do no wrong.

Onto the game Kopczak was penalised for a soft high shot and Leeds scored from it, Peacock took Kopczaks head off 2nd half (kick able penalty range) even Stevo was calling it but no penalty given?

Taai was 2 on 1 ball steal but was double movement before scoring so handover correct decision.

Penalty for tackling Leeds player into touch absolute nonsense, still moving and not held in a month of Sundays, see it week in week out but never a penalty?

Correct decision against Wardle for clapping sarcastically.

Obstruction one was correct after Leeds one had been allowed, Cuthbertson was clearly looking for a penalty and made no attempt to tackle Huby who was walking towards his own sticks.

Leeds 7 penalties on trot against em but no team warning not sure why? Watch Leeds games when on TV and seems a tactic to spoil when defending close to their line and seem happy to give penalties away there.

Knock given against wood award nonsense as the ball at no time travelled forwards.

Aiton knock on but given penalty again nonsense as Wardle has foot on his try line, both teams were doing this but only penaltys given were against Giants, very strange.

Overall Giants just nudged it and deserved the 2 points

Knock given against wood award nonsense as the ball at no time travelled forwards. As for the alleged biting incidents then both Brough and Hardaker should have named the players concerned at the time but nothing is conclusive on the game recorded on
tv .

Agree with most of the post but with regards to Wardle does the rule not state that the defence must be behind the line?Wardle had one foot on the line and the rest of his body in front thus clearly offside.

On the line is behind the line for any interpretation in any other case

it was good defence penalised same as the push into touch - and if held had been called it was called too early

It was correctly called held- watkins joins the tackle and Brough comes round the other side so is dragging not pushing- BUT the players didn't hear the call so it should be go back and play the ball-not a penalty!!!

What never fails to suprise me is how you can comment without knowing the rules.

It's is a penalty. Brough claiming they didn't hear (with naff all fans there) doesn't çhange the rules. You lot are a joke.

Exactly, I'm still waiting for the first ever case of a player admitting that he DID hear the ref call held but carried on anyway.

It makes no difference if there's 90,000 or one man and his dog. But you're never one to overlook an opportunity to have a dig at crowd numbers eh!

The held call can't be heard over the tv - in fact did you notice how far away from the tackle silverwood was at the time? he was over 10 metres behind and also out to the side. it's not beyond possibility the players didn't hear given he hadn't kept up with play- especially as the one man and his dog began cheering as the player was moved towards the touch- and were as close to the players as the referee if not closer! The fact the ref says to brough I haven't got a microphone (which is actually incorrect as he does) tries to justify why he hasn't heard! poor from silverwood.

You might want to have your tv checked as i heard the held call just fine. That's also to disregard the fact that all the players know the deal, so as soon as Brough found himself dragging rather than pushing he knew, as soon as they saw Watkins lend weight they knew. Whether they heard the call or not is actually immaterial to the reaction as penalty was the correct call on three different counts. Still best not let that get in the way of feeling badly done to eh?

Why is it that just after we play Leeds the Trolls all appear out of the woodwork, or are they trolling elsewhere, I suspect the latter. Enjoy the games against Leeds but this is the downside.

That's a bit rich coming from Huddersfield. They'd hang around our board for a few weeks before and after we played them when they were constantly beating us. When we played you earlier in the year you'd lost your opening couple of games so confidence was low and then we beat you and the presence of any Hudds fans on our board was none existent. You get a draw on the back of a few wins in previous weeks and they come over on mass to the Leeds board, especially when they can try and claim their usual excuse of refs having it in for them and favouring the "big clubs" just because a ref made a call that they don't understand.

My irony meter has just exploded. Pages and pages on the Leeds board moaning about an obstruction that wasn't given- Barely a mention of abletts knock on. Still you have to justify why you lost a point to "the worst side you've played this season" after failing to cross our whitewash in the second half and being 22-6 at half time up eh???

No doubt you'll be back with the same two faced comments in two weeks time....

most of the big calls were probably 50/50 some went for us, some against us.
but you can guarantee had those that went against us been at headingley i doubt the leeds fans would accept that "it was a clear penalty" etc, they'd be turning the microphones down to drown out the foul and abusive stuff that would follow icon_smile.gif

One poster said you put in the worst first half against us this season, most then disagreed with him, hardly the overriding view on the board.

People tried pointing out to yourself and others about Ablett's knock-on. Yes he did, was it obvious at normal time from the ref's angle, no. Was it obvious after you saw a slowed down reply from a certain angle, yes.

There's the difference, try and figure it out.
