Quote: GIANT DAZ "bradford were awful and if there fans are pleased with that garbage then they have fallen further than i thought!

only the weather actually kept them in the game today and i dont think they got within 40 metres of our line in the 2nd half.'"

So a side 8 points behind with 5 minutes to go, and 12 players on the side-line, playing awful rugby. How poor must you guys have been then? Considering you spent a long, long time camped in our half, battering our line and the result was one try with 5 minutes left. It was a hard-fought, ugly win. Wins that a top team must achieve when required. I believe the Giants can go far this year, and not capitulate again, so I dunno if it's vertigo affecting the Fartowners but there sure is some indignity on show. Enjoy the win for fook sake!

0. Because of brilliant defence, pressurised attack and handling errors amongst other things.

Remind me how many points you scored with 12 men? (Because I can't remember! I think it was also 0 but I'm not 100%) My point is it wasn't the Huddersfield walk-over some are suggesting.

I'm amazed the RFL would allow such conditions in their flagship stadium.

Was you at a different match? it was a physical low scoring game.. neither team were brilliant..

As for the pitch? I was in the stand and was dripping wet so id hate to think how it was on the pitch or the terracing.. The pitch was fine prior to kick off.. That amount of rain would have cut up any pitch..(apart from widnes ) .

Some shocking decisions by the ref against both sides & difficulty telling the teams apart at the end because of the mud.

Just enjoy the win, Its the physical scrappy ones that help at the end of the season and teams are fighting for places. Bradford's attack was never going to be great, too many injuries to key players. Defence however was good for large parts of the game.

Think its a bit unfair on our lads saying they were terrible.

Considering amount of injuries, the conditions, and the adversity of the field i was pleased with a performance which did lack the killer instinct but was filled with effort.

With our main organiser (gale) and our livewire sammut out I thought Brown got the gameplan spot on, Jeffries was pressurised as much as possible as everythings been going through him lately.

not sure it would have mattered what players was on that pitch you couldnt play rugby in them conditions. thought both sides did well considering what they had to get through i mean that pitch was shocking but in the end our forwards worned theirs down and that allowed us to get the points we needed in the second half to finish the game off. Never a game for the purist just a hard 80 mins that had to be got through and im happy we came with 2 points

also didnt help with the ref giving some stupid decisions both ways. I normally wouldnt have anything against a ref in them conditions but alibert does it week in and out no matter what weather.

Think the difference was our backs taking the ball in early in the tackle count (as NBs usual tactics) bradfords forwards were the only ones taking the ball in and were much more tired than ours in second half as shown by how well we pinned them down. Made me laugh -there were 25 players you couldnt tell apart in grey-then pryce in a lily white shirt. Why potter doesn't utilise him is beyond me.

Agree with this on the whole, apart from the statement highlighted, to be honest thats how i like my rugby, good honest toil.

Both teams participated in a game that was never going to appeal to the purists, yes Bradford had injuries, but to be honest i think if they had been able to put out their full first team the result would have been similar.

Having watched that try quite a few times on SLTV, albeit not in slow motion, I, unfortunately, suspect he may have made the correct decision. However, I do concur that he had a poor game.

I thought he was quite good at Hull though.
