He has been suspended for around 30 weeks in a 10 seaon career. But he has had a 10 week ban and a 7 week ban which helps make up a big percentage of his total ban. We all know bans of such length don't exist in super league so even if he misses the odd week it will be worth it if he adds some real power and aggression to the pack.

Most players nowadays miss about 3 games a season anyways. As long as he doesn't get injured i would be quite happy if he got banned for 3 games a season, for one thing it would keep him fresh and aggression is what we are lacking. A pack of mason, fa'alogo and O'Donnell is not to be messed with.

Don't be so rational without suggesting a stand in scapegoat. What are we going to do if everyone plays well? There'll be no point going to matches anymore.

Even Brett Hodgson has had a taste of it this season. Maybe we should have a scapegoat rota so that if everyone plays a blinder we still have someone to have a dig at.

TBC, Brett Hodgson has had some truly awful games this season. It would seem we have had the best season he had left in him in 2009. We will not know until he plays out his contract at Warrington

The point is I just do not understand the “I’ve paid my money so I’m entitled to say what I think” mentality. Yes they can say what they want if it stays within the law but I still can’t get my head around why a supporter would want to do it.

The key word here is “supporter” i.e. someone who supports in both good and bad times. In fact support in the bad times is even more crucial than the good times.

As I say, the need to find a scapegoat goes completely over my head.
