Brough had agreed to sign for you when his contract expired a long time ago. The only reason he's with you now is because he refused to sign a contract with us so we made it known that offers would be listened to. Rather than risk someone coming in with a better offer, or more likely DB refusing to sign a worse offer and letting the cat out of the bag that he'd been illegally approached, your guys took the chance to off-load Korki and lent us Kirmond for a year. No complaints from me - I've consistently said that DB was OK at Trin, but didn't have the brains or the bottle to be a world class player. I said in a different thread somewhere on this forum that if he had the brains of Briers or Drew and could overcome his tendency to choke on the big stage he'd be awesome - Saturday showed he still has some way to go.

Saturday showed the whole team had some way to go, nothing to do with DB at all that performance...

i do think that Mason, Aspy and Faimu can hold their heads up but the rest of the squad need to take a moment to realise that they are not quite hitting the mark at the moment. we have won a lot of games this season and not played well, win lose or draw its how we play over the season that should be peoples main focus not indevidual games.

I think they should stay away from who did well who didn't - it'll lead to a blame culture.

As a team (including all the backroom staff) they did not perform and as a team they need to put this right.

Now i have calmed down ( i was tempted to delete my post at the begining of this thread but i can admit when i am wrong). We should all get behinfd Hodgson and the rest of the team. Now is not the time to give up on the team. Get behind them all this Sunday. This is the time when we see who the REAL fans are.
