Fair enough who am i to raise awkward questions about how the club is run! Good luck to Jake Connor at Hull i think we have lost a highly talented player for nothing and if the recruitment so far is anything to go by our sights are set on a different end of the 1eague to them anyway.

it's not the fact your raising awkward questions it's the fact that these questions we're asked and answered way back in June when all this happened.

A bit of both Joe, PA apparently didn't have him in his plans so that's when the Hull thing came about and Jake took care of his own future, RS came in liked what he saw and wanted to keep him, hence JC making an apparent U-turn and saying he wanted to stay. Obviously the club couldn't find a way of keeping him so the deal went ahead.

I'm surprised PA didn't want Connor - as he kept trying to shoehorn him in The squad in different positions.

Me too considering he once said Jake hasn't got a specified position, he's so good in lots of them.

Something must have changed to change his mind, but you knew yourself Rick wanted him and tried to keep him.

Positive thinking! Based on last season I think Wood should be a strong contender to earn more super league games. Hopefully Stone and our new conditioner can bring the best out of him.

Watched Mamo quite a few times last season, the only positions I have seen him in are FullBack and Winger although he might have been a in one of the games. My opinion of him is a very good player, and there would only be a couple of iffy games during the season but generally he has a safe pair of hands, runs well with pace, defence could probably need working on but he`s not bad. Overall would be pleased if we could sign him as a utility back with fullback being his speciality.
